Best Beauty Products Under $10 (2020)

Talking about the best beauty products under $10 is actually immensely exciting.

I’m so excited about writing this article. When we think about beauty products, we imagine that everything must be really expensive.

Unfortunately,

That can be true for quite many products, maybe the majority of them.

It’s incredible when I can actually afford a beauty product without feeling guilty about spending too much on it.

Especially when I’m completely disappointed with the end-result.

That’s why,

Talking about the best beauty products under $10 is so freeing.

I can tell you about how amazing they are and what they can do without mentioning budgets or financial obstacles and all the other adult things that we’d like to ignore most of the time.

My selection for the best beauty products under $10 covers a pretty wide array of topics and niches.

There are a lot more like them, you just have to find them.

beauty products under $10

1. ACURE Brightening Facial Scrub

This deserves to be at the top of the list for the best beauty products under $10.

What makes it so popular, so amazing?

Let’s find out.

I pretty much guarantee that you’re going to be as impressed as I am.

If you’re looking for the perfect product to brighten your facial skin then look no further. The Acure Brightening Facial Scrub is your answer.

I’m constantly dealing with acne and I’ve accepted that part of myself but I don’t like it at all when my face looks dull.

Even though I have acne and I don’t use makeup products because I’m too lazy for all that, I still want my face to look healthy and bright.

That’s where the Acure Brightening Facial Scrub comes in. I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t give this one a try.

Not all facial scrubs achieve what they promise to do, I’ve experience a lot of those but this one totally does.

It’s recommended for all skin types. No one should miss on it.

The star ingredients include sea kelp and French green clay.

This facial scrub is also paraben free, sulfate free, mineral oil free, petrolatum free and formaldehyde free. All their many products are like that.

You only get 4 fl oz (118 ml) for the price, which makes it almost twice as expensive as the cheap facial scrubs, but it’s totally worth it. It wouldn’t be on this list if that weren’t the case.

You should use 3 times a week so, it will last a while until you have to replace it. It should last at least half a year.

Some end up using it daily. Personally, I’ve never used any facial scrub daily so, I don’t know about that. It’s for you to decide.

The directions are simple: apply on wet face and rub gently with your fingers then rinse thoroughly. After that, you can proceed with your normal facial care routine.

If you want an alternative to this facial scrub, check out the M3 Naturals Activated Charcoal Scrub. It exceeds the $10 limit but only because it weighs 12 oz (340g). Considering that, it has a pretty affordable price tag.

2. St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub With Salicylic Acid

I talked above about cheap facial scrubs.

This is definitely one of those. The price is pretty much unbeatable and unbelievable, if I may say so. I didn’t even think that it was possible for a facial scrub to be this cheap.

And it weighs 6 oz (170g). This thing should last a very long time.

As any facial scrub, it’s recommended to use the St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub With Salicylic Acid 3-4 times a week.

The 2% salicylic acid is what really wins me over. I’ve tried a lot of products based on this reason alone.

However,

There’s one very important thing that you must be aware before buying this scrub from St. Ives.

Some users have experienced breakouts after using it just once. It’s an important risk to consider before purchasing it, even though the price is such a sweet temptation.

I’m still going to include it on my list for the best beauty products under $10 because there are users who have had a rewarding experience with it.

3. CeraVe Facial Cleansers

From facial scrubs we’re moving on to facial cleansers.

Unlike scrubs, which should only be used 2-3 times a week, facial cleansers fall into the category of skin care products that should be used daily, no other way around it.

Just like it’s the case with moisturizers and sunscreens for face. Regarding that, I’ve also written a post on the best moisturizers with SPF, check it out if you want to find out what it’s all about.

Nevertheless,

It’s not enough to use a facial cleanser daily, it should be used twice daily.

And massage it into wet skin for a minute before rising it thoroughly.

In addition to that,

I also use my facial cleanser before and after I epilate to prevent breakouts on my upper lip.

Plus,

Before and after I exercise. I do yoga, nothing extreme and I only sweat a lot during the summer but that’s pretty much my routine.

If your facial cleanser is good, it won’t dry out the skin at all.

And that’s where one big question comes in.

Why am I including a product that exceeds the $10 limit on a list for the best beauty products under $10?

Because CeraVe has the best facial cleansers.

I’ve tried out a lot of them and, for the last few years, I’ve never been more satisfied with a skin care product. It’s rare to find one that’s so perfect.

But that’s not all.

If you consider the quantity, it turns out that the price is truly affordable, although I would call it cheap for what you get.

Those are strong reasons for including the CeraVe facial cleansers on my list for the best beauty products under $10 even though the price is just a bit above that price limit.

There are a few options to choose from, which I appreciate a lot:

  • one is a facial cleanser for people with normal to dry skin (it actually leaves the skin feeling hydrated) another is for normal to oily skin (don’t buy this unless you really have oily skin)

  • and a salicylic acid cleanser for normal skin and for those who are acne-prone (it will reduce the frequency and intensity of your breakouts, especially if it’s paired up with other products intended to fight against acne)

If you want a smaller, more affordable option, there’s the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar but it’s only for normal to dry skin.

All in all,

These are some of the best facial cleansers and I’m definitely not the only one attesting to that.

4. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne and Redness Facial Cleanser

Continuing with facial cleansers, this time I have one that fits the $10 limit.

The price is quite affordable and the quality is perfect, there’s no way I’m leaving out the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne and Redness Facial Cleanser from my best beauty products under $10 list.

The Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne and Redness Facial Cleanser is designed for people suffering from breakouts.

Those with acne-prone skin should consider giving it a try. It might become your favorite.

It contains 2% salicylic acid in combination with the MicroClear technology, which should boost the delivery of salicylic acid.

Moreover,

It also intends to sooth the skin so, it contains aloe and chamomile.

However,

Some users have experienced tight skin and irritation and even more redness than the usual,  even though it’s supposed to even out the skin tone and actually sooth irritated skin.

Some users advise that this facial cleanser is not for people with sensitive skin.

I’m not sure why it doesn’t work for some people but you should take that into consideration before buying the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne and Redness Facial Cleanser.

The alternative, which I totally recommend, is trying out one of the facial cleansers from CeraVe. I consider them to be the best facial cleansers.

With CeraVe you also get 16 fl oz (473 ml), while with Neutrogena you only get 6 fl oz (177 ml).

That’s a huge difference.

Thus,

It turns out that the CeraVe ones, besides being the best facial cleansers are also one of the cheapest facial cleansers on the market.

5. Neutrogena Sunscreen Lotion

The actual name for this sunscreen lotion is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Water Resistant and Non-Greasy Sunscreen Lotion.

It’s recommended for all skin types.

And it actually does exactly what it says – it doesn’t leave the skin looking ghostly white. The skin absorbs it easily so, there’s no white film left on the skin.

Just massage it gently until the skin absorbs it all.

It will also last a long time and it will stay on even if you sweat.

Even more,

For those concerned, this one will not cause breakouts. I have used sunscreens for face that were intended for people with acne-prone skin but those are a lot more expensive, even when they were at half the size of this one.

The Neutrogena Sunscreen Lotion is packed into 3 fl oz (88 ml) bottles. Perfect for travels, too.

I think it’s hard to find a sunscreen that’s as affordable as this one and works so well without transforming you into a ghost or making the skin feel heavy or greasy.

It’s the perfect product for my best beauty products under $10 list.

The Neutrogena Sunscreen Lotion has SPF 100+. Things have definitely evolved a lot since I first started using a sunscreen.

As you know,

You must apply sunscreen on your face and neck even in the winter, it helps prevent wrinkles, I never leave the house without it, whether I’m wearing pure sunscreen or a moisturizer with SPF or even a tinted moisturizer with SPF.

Since it must be used daily, it’s great to find a sunscreen lotion like this Neutrogena that’s so affordable.

Nevertheless,

There’s also a catch. This sunscreen is completely chemical.

The active ingredients are:

  • avobenzone 3%
  • homosalate 15%
  • octisalate 5%
  • octocrylene 10%
  • oxybenzone 6%

I found a very interesting post on the ingredients used in sunscreen, you can find it here if you want to know more about them and what are the concerns that you should have.

To put it simply, I would recommend the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Water Resistant and Non-Greasy Sunscreen Lotion to adults like myself, people at least over 20, but not at all to children or teenagers.

6. Veet Gel Hair Removal Cream

It seems that I cannot escape talking about hair removing products not even when I’m rounding up a few best beauty product under $10.

This is a hair removal cream and one of the best.

If you’re not into pain, meaning waxing or using an epilator, but you also don’t like shaving at all and you still want to get rid of the unwanted hair on your body, then hair removal creams are the answer.

Depilatory creams dissolve the hairs at the surface of the skin. There’s no pain at all.

You will get smooth hair-free skin for about 3 to 5 days.

What I like about hair removal creams is that they’re easy to use and they work fast. There’s nothing complicated about it.

There’s just one thing that you should pay attention to.

You need to test how long it takes for the cream the act without causing any irritation to the skin. Once you figure out the time then, you’re all set.

In the case of the Veet Gel Hair Removal Cream, you should leave it on for anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes.

Under any circumstances don’t exceed the 10 minute limit.

Start by leaving it on for 6-7 minutes and see if all the hairs have been dissolved. Increase the time if not.

Once the time is up you can simple rinse it in the shower.

It works great for those with sensitive skin, too.

Don’t use it on face and only apply it on the bikini line not on the entire bikini area, that’s a very delicate area and the chemicals could harm it.

It will work perfectly as long as you follow the instructions.

There’s no awful smell, that’s certainly a plus.

The Veet Gel Hair Removal Cream comes in a 13.5 fl oz (400 ml) bottle so, it will last a while. It should be your first choice when it comes to hair removal creams, it’s pretty great and the price is just as great.

7. Kate Blanc Cosmetics Castor Oil (2 oz)

While I talked just above about a product made for removing unwanted hair from the body, this best beauty product under $10 (actually is right on the price limit so, not really under but it still qualifies) is actually intended for promoting hair growth.

Talk about polar opposites.

Who hasn’t heard of the magic abilities of castor oil for making our lashes long as if we’re just about to star into a mascara advertisement?

It turns out that there are a lot more castor oil properties:

  • lashes and eyebrows growth

  • speedy growth for nails

  • helps grow longer and thicker hair

  • diminishes hair loss

  • treatment for dry brittle hair, dry scalps, and even against dandruff

  • it can even be used as a skin moisturizer, especially for dry skin because it can help maintain moisture

The Kate Blanc Cosmetics Castor Oil is 100% organic and the price is amazing. It’s a treasure and one of the highlights of this list with all those impressive properties for such an affordable price.

There are many more best beauty product under $10 to be discovered, I hope your search is fruitful and that my list will be a nice start for you.
