Philips Satin Perfect Epilator HP6576 Expensive but Efficient

Pros: Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe is the device that has it all, a complete grooming kit: epilator head with 32 ceramic tweezers, shaver head, trimmer head, and a smart tweezer with bright LED light and a mirror. For the epilation part, there is a massage system and a pivoting head. It’s a great epilator that leaves incredibly smooth skin.

Cons: It’s quite a painful epilator but it won’t seem that way if you’ve used waxing or other epilators for years now. Having only 32 tweezers, it’s not the fastest one out there. I wouldn’t use it as a facial epilator because it has no facial cap.

Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe Epilator is one of those expensive epilators that raises the logic question once you’ve seen the price: is it worth it?

I’m going to let you answer that question once you’ve read this Philips HP6576 review.

There are two models from Philips that I’ve decided to include in my post on epilator reviews and they are at the extremes, especially when the classifying criteria is the price tag.

One is basic simple and really affordable. I’m referring to Philips HP6401. The second one is the HP6576, reviewed in this present post, and it’s two/three times more expensive. So let’s see what this rotatory epilator has to offer.

Philips HP6576: An Amazing Hair Removal Product

Philips HP6576 epilator

The Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe Epilator is one of the prettiest hair removal gadgets. I love the sleek design and the ergonomic shape. It’s feminine and powerful.

But the design is not only pretty and girlish, it’s also very useful. There is a very bright built-in light. It comes in handy for making sure that you are no leaving any hairs behind.

There are also 2 speeds, as it is the case with so many epilators: 1 is the gentle one and 2 is the fast efficient one.

Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe Epilator offers:

  • 32 ceramic tweezers,
  • active hair lifter system,
  • cordless with 2 speeds and built-in light,
  • massage system and pivoting head,
  • shaving head and trimming head, besides the tweezers head,
  • and smart tweezers with LED light and a tiny mirror.

Number of Tweezers

Philips HP6576 tweezers

It only has 32 ceramic tweezers but, as I’ve discovered with the help of other women and their personal reviews, it’s a quite an efficient epilator. And it should be, considering its price.

The number of tweezers might not seem an impressive one, after all there is the Emjoi AP-18 with its 72 metallic tweezers.

Even so the HP6576 is a pretty powerful epilator. It’s not as fast as I would like it to be but that doesn’t mean that it won’t leave your skin feeling silky smooth.

Cordless Epilator

The Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe is a cordless epilator. But don’t jump ahead and think that it can be used under the shower. It’s not a wet and dry epilator.

Thus it can be used dry only. Being cordless, it means that it takes 1 hour to charge and up to 40 minutes of continuous usage.

What I really like is that this epilator can be used while it’s charging, too. There are few cordless epilators that can be used while charging. That’s a plus.

Accessories

First of all, there’s the active hair lifter system, which helps a lot with removing flat or tiny hairs. That’s awesome.

There is no facial cap that narrows down the number of tweezers so I wouldn’t use it to remove facial hair.

Philips HP6576 Satin Perfect Deluxe Epilator features a massage system that is supposed to help with the pain and it may create a nice feeling, but that doesn’t mean that it makes the pain go away entirely.

There’s also a pivoting head that’s helpful around knees and elbows. So basically the pivoting head adjust the epilation head to the contour of a woman’s body. It’s useful in reaching difficult spots.

Other accessories that come with this Philips Satin Perfect epilator include a trimmer and a shaver head. So if you can’t stand the pain caused by epilation, you can switch to shaving/trimming.

The smart tweezers that also has a bright LED light is not usually offered as an accessory to an epilator. But it’s actually a pretty nice welcomed thing.

If you notice a couple of hairs that you’ve missed, you can use the tweezer to remove them. I often find myself doing that.

Epilation is known to cause ingrown hairs so if you just don’t have too many of them or you get too lazy to use an exfoliation product, then you can use the smart tweezers. Or you can pluck your eyebrows with it. The point is that it’s a qualitative tweezer with a bright LED light.

Other accessories include a cleaning brush and a travel pouch.

For better hygiene, you can also wash the removable head thus all that mess is cleaned away and the epilator looks brand new.

To sum up, Philips Satin Perfect HP6576 is an expensive epilator but it’s worth it because it does a great job at leaving the skin smooth, it has a pivoting head plus the massage system, a shaver and a trimmer head plus the smart tweezer with bright light and mirror, so it’s a complete hair removal system in just one device.
